This doesn't really flow very smoothly. If anyone has any other ideas, I'm up for giving anything a try. I already miss my people. Do you miss yours?

I've been through this … let's see:
formspring.me → it didn't die, but they said they were going to die, and a bunch of people left anyway.… I joined ask.fm (which still exists [I'm a7085 there] ) and youreply which never really got off the ground… then they changed they interface and it became spring.me … it lingered on for maybe a year or few months.

Then retrospring, I wanna say "chapter one", but I got the impression it has been through other iterations. I dug it and still do. it ain't perfect, but its simplicity is nice. Especially after the bugginess of late spring.me . My only regret, I could only snag 'z' as a screen name. I wanted '_ ' but it was taken. So when I found modern I did grab it. Retro had the most graceful exist. I don't know how many months they gave, but it was a crap load ( maybe 8?) then they killed it in a glorious CSS(???)-type acid trip. I can't find good video, but at the end the whole thing swirled while "Green and Purple" by Kritikal played in the background.

Then modernspring and life under Ivan. He added picture support. He also banned 'fun', but we survived. He gave us a week's notice and killed it before 2017? Ivan's outro music was some video game. Low key, but something never the less.

So kiwi… Pretty good. bells and whistles but often wouldn't cooperate with my browser. I didn't get to back up my answers either (assuming that would've been possible.

Retro came back, I heard somewhere as an April fool's joke (???) but then it didn't go away. It's pretty cool, but don't get too comfortable.

If you're new here Q/A business forces us to be a nomadic tribe. Hopefully it will continue. If/when retro, maybe ask.fm maybe nowhere / the end, but here's hoping.

I miss "people", but miss people from years ago, and yet did I really even know them. I like the tribe. There's usually something nice to find to pass the time. I like the "company".
