it depends cause i dont usually gatekeep unless its something i've liked for a very long time or a character/duo/group thats constantly mischaracterized :( if its a lesser known media i would want to share it but im sometimes worried that if it gets popular people will completely miss the point of the media

I SAY I’m gatekeeping and then talk about it every second out of reflex. I also stopped publicly claiming to be the biggest Chainsaw Man fan due to the harassment I got in my inbox because “it’s too popular to gatekeep you weirdo!!!” although the people who were sending that were gatekeeping things like Death Note😭😭
