I sent an ask earlier and it hasn’t been answered? I know that there is a no AI policy in your FAQ, but your head mod has posted AI art before a couple of times and claimed that they did it themselves. Thoughts? Opinions?
We just got around to checking our asks so we apologize for the delay. We do in fact have a no AI policy in our FAQ section that you may have missed.
As for the accusation against our head mod- this is false. Our head mod, Meera, is new to social media (barely joined twitter this year in April). We apologize for any confusion or distress this mix up may have caused but we do not tolerate any use of AI.

hellooo I have a lot of fics that fall just outside the writers application word limit (specifically the 5.5-6k one, even with the 500 word leeway), would a 6.7k fic be okay to submit? The other three samples I'm submitting fit within the limits, it's just this last one! Thanks!

Yes in this instance you’re alright to submit it, we try to keep the chances of this happening lower by offering the leeway but we don’t expect people to write something completely new to fit the criteria to apply!

By 18+, do you mean the zine only accepts contributors who are 18+ in age?

Yes, since this zine will include being paid with merchandise and possibly a monetary equivalent we cannot allow anyone under that age of 18 to “work” without specific documentation which is a lot to put into a small fandom project!

Okay, so ships like Kyouka x Kenji, using this as an example, would not be allowed in a sfw setting? Its not illegal in the US for kids to be romantic with eachother, I understand with the no NSFW rule obviously but for SFW, I guess, I'm a bit confused on them needing to be 18+ (Unless you meant no -18 with an established 18+ character and not that you can't have -18 ships, then sorry for the misunderstanding!) /genq
If it is the 'no -18 with 18+' meant, what about characters with no established ages? Such as Karma for example. Is there any specifications for stuff like that? /genq

Yes I did mean that -18 and 18+ character relationships in a romantic nature are not allowed, we haven’t necessarily discussed the nuances of possibly allowing two -18 characters such as Kenji and Kyouka to be depicted in a childish “romantic” manner, I don’t suppose it would be inappropriate as long as there are clear boundaries and guidelines on the content material! For characters with unclear or not established ages, such as Karma, I don’t necessarily see it being a major issue (no offense intended to fans of Karma) seeing as they are usually relatively minor characters. However if the problem does arise we will try to handle the situation with as much context from the manga and anime as we can to deliberate!
You also don’t have to apologize for the questions at all, they help us set a clear understanding that we are accepting of everyone however for legality we can’t allow certain things!

(Not previous anon but someone with a question) With the recent answer, I'm guessing the no underage depiction is meant in the nsfw way not the sfw right? Like— you're allowed to draw kid characters in a sfw sense? I just wanted to clear that up i was a bit confused when it said no underaged characters. I do have a question regarding ships though! (unless this was answered before, then sorry!!) But is there any rule against certain ships you can draw for the zine? Just wanted to check! :)

Yes you would completely be allowed to portray underage characters in a SFW setting, sorry for the misunderstanding! Regarding rules for certain ships, unfortunately it hasn’t been discussed in detail so for the moment I will just say that no currently underage characters (currently meaning however old the character is within the main manga) will be allowed to be aged up to fit the criteria! I.e. our contributors would not be able to age up Kenji to participate in any romantic relationship. So while at the moment we do not have a set list of ships that are excluded from being in the zine any relationship would have to be legal within the U.S. laws, so the characters would both have to be 18+ if in a romantic and non-platonic relationship!

Hi! I noticed that all types of content are allowed for this zine and I was wondering what type of content in terms of like character pairings/dynamics the zine/the contributors are leaning towards. I love the theme but I'm not the most comfortable in interacting/purchasing a zine with "proship" content (and its totally fine if the contributors want to include that type of content! I myself just don't believe in sharing/"advertising" (twitter reposts etc.) such content on my accounts to others and just want to be aware before I interact)

While the term “all content” is very broad, unfortunately for legal reasons there are certain things that we can’t allow within the zine or it would be a felony to distribute (even digitally) to consumers in other countries! So while the mod team has an open mind towards people applying and doesn’t discriminate based on anything applicants or guests create, we cannot allow most “proship” content including underage depictions of characters, any post mortem sexual acts (in our additional NSFW add-on, as our main zine will be SFW), non consensual sexual content etc. The theme of our zine is, for the most part, a family-friendly one and therefore as will our posts and content previews aside from our NSFW add-on (which will be blurred and censored for social media posts)!

hi. would like to ask a question regarding the writers submission word limit. majority of my oneshot works are 4k~ or 5k~ and does not reach the word limit for neither qualified for the 3k or the 6k limit. what can i do regarding this? thank u ^^

I submitted my application as an artist but I just now completed a much better rendered piece with a hand painted background. I also forgot to submit one full body piece, but I linked my portfolio. Should I submit another application?
