I had an issue when purchasing the zine. The first time I got a request to open the Link app and cou;dnt get a purchase, so i tried again and it worked. But now I got charge twice on my credit card. Any assistance resolving this would be appreciated.

Is the preorder bonus still available?
Yes! We're only two orders away from unlocking our first stretch goal, but only 39/48 orders are physical, meaning the next 11 physical orders will still receive the bonus card! ^^

Does the ultimate bundle contain the Overture sidezine or is it just like an add-on and buy it with the bundle?
Hi! Overture is its own separate side-zine with completely different content from Unfinished Symphony, so it's an add-on you can only purchase under the Bundle 1 listing. Since Bundles 2, 3, and 5 already come with a complementary PDF of Unfinished Symphony, you only need to purchase Overture on its own from Bundle 1. But if you're only interested in the digital versions of both zines, you may purchase both at a discount of $25! The ability to automatically discount both PDFs in our stores is why it's not listed along with the add-ons. Hope this answers your question! ^^

at what time will you send in the application results tomorrow :)?
Emails will be sent out at 11AM PST, or 2PM EST! Be sure to check your spam and promotions folders as well, because oftentimes emails sent in big batches like ours get sent to spam. We will however be sending in batches of 10 or less recipients to hopefully avoid this issue. If you run into any problems or don't see our email, just shoot us a quick message!

Is it normal for one application to send us an email of our submission wile another may not? I'm pretty sure I sent the right email for both my apps so I'm a lil worried something might have went wrong.
Hi! You should receive a confirmation email for each application you submitted. Feel free to email us at [email protected] with your name, correct email, and the application you believe might have the wrong information and we'll mark it down so you're sure to receive your results on June 10! :)

i think i included a canon divergent pitch for the physical, im a bit worried i wont be chosen as a result. should i resubmit my application or could i keep the idea of kaede with the character i chose but change the idea a bit if i get accepted?
Don’t worry about it! As stated in the pitches question, that question was more to get a feeling for what you’re thinking at this stage. It won’t actually affect your chances of acceptance. We will workshop pitches when you’ve joined the project, nothing will be finalised upon acceptance, so there is no need to resubmit.

Ok I gotta ask was the decision to make the main zine based on canon content because of interest checks because Im having a hard time wrapping my head around that decision. Kaede fostering friendships in v3-1 seems less than ideal because she is under the stress of the killing game wile also not having access to the other parts of the school be closed of and its sad to think all she can do is just talk to the others. She can't paint with Angie, play Tennis with Ryoma, play in the casino etc. Not to mention it feels odd to say people can't divert from the canon but have Kaede be a ghost or come out of a vr coman wich are not canon so why not rid of the strict canon only rule. It would simply be more practical for her to just be able to live past chapter 1 than her being a ghost like I can't recall a character giving people the option to do this. Ironicly she has more potential to develop stronger relationships with people in the side zine because these limitations are not put into place.
Hi! The theme of the zine was decided by the mod team about a year before the interest check was open. It was not decided by the interest check, though we did decide to host a separate digital zine due to answers specifically asking for crossover interactions in a non-Despair universe. To put it as simply as possible, as the mod team, we are allowed to decide the theme of the project! And people can choose to apply if they are interested in what we're offering. Since Kaede hasn't had a zine yet, we wanted to focus on what she canonically contributed to the game and the connections she did make within those few days, as well as her possible life before and after Danganronpa. Pieces involving ghosts or virtual simulation fit within these guidelines because they do not clash with canon, as opposed to pieces where she survives past Chapter 1. We're sorry that you find these limitations frustrating, but we're very excited with the number of apps and pitch ideas we've received so far! Hopefully Kaede will receive even more love in the community with future zines that could focus on canon-divergent content.

Is it possible to be in both? Or will you get chosen for one?
You will be accepted into either the physical or digital zine, but those accepted into the physical zine will also be offered the opportunity to create pieces for our digital project as there are less page limit constraints on a digital zine! However, priority will be given to digital-only contributors when it comes to pitch selections.

is there a limit to how many pieces we can have in our portfolio? and for the danganronpa piece in the app, does it have to linked in the best pieces portion or can it just be included in the portfolio link?
There is no limit, and you can have the Danganronpa in your portfolio! Prioritise showing us the pieces that best represent your current abilities, and we'll check your portfolio for that DR piece. :)
