its usually about how relatable they are! probably!! if they are relatable to me then i'll most likely love them a lot. but i choose with my eyes too... i give extra points for things like fluffy hair, red hair, freckles, hair accessories, sometimes scars and other things like that but idk it depends. so i love characters that are relatable and cute. also i think im particularly fond of characters that are kinda stupid or just rlly weak in some area but then like VERY good at something else like genius level of good and this gap isn't something you notice without needing to dig deep into the character? idk how to explain this properly to not make it sound like "i like characters that have weaknesses and strengths" bdpdfpbdfpb but yeah something like that. also sometimes i just choose characters i'm going to pay attention to just because of their voice actor and i end up getting very attached to them
