FUN FACT I LOVE PTV AND CARAPHERNALIA!!!!! Selfish machines will be played at my funeral!! This song being about how Vic missed his ex gf when he would find little things around his house that reminded him of her and he wondered why they even broke up in the first place 🥲. Was this intentional? Did u put this songs bc he misses meg? Tho in this chapter it don’t sound like it😭. I’m scared to read the comments Megumi get behind me!! In my opinion they’re both in the wrong not bc of what happened at the party but because of how they both refuse to communicate with each other, prior to the party and after, they’re relationship was always toxic. I love them both and hope they heal 🫶. Anyways this is really all over the place my fault fr I just couldn’t stfu and idk how to make it sound fluent 😭.

but before that— yes, i usually pick the chapter titles intentionally!! 😚 specific lines that remind me of notable events/ characters usually get added as the title (OR on the tracklist at the end of the chapters)~
i chose Caraphernalia based on two lyrics that stood out to me hehe; the chorus (“what if i can’t forget you? i’ll burn your name into my throat, i’ll be the fire that’ll catch you, and what’s so good about picking up the pieces?”) reminded me a lot of Sukuna and how DESTRUCTIVE his yearning is for both himself and his two love interests (which became really apparent in this chapter); and then the second verse (“you’re learning how to taste what you kill now”) REALLY stood out to me, because this entire flashback is about Sukuna realizing the consequences of his actions, i.e. having a taste of what he’d killed— even if his mindset is skewed or mislead… AAAHHH I JUST LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH 😭😩💕
also I agree with you 100% about their relationship!! you nailed it!! being friends with benefits in MY experience is inherently unhealthy, because it’s a relationship without any accountability… if that makes sense? Neither of them felt the need to communicate because they’re “not together,” and you’re SOOO RIGHT!! IT WAS ALWAYS TOXIC!! FOR THAT REASON!! Sukuna and Megumi both need to heal, especially after these recent chapters 🥺👺💔
