Persian poetry is so utterly special and eloquent, I fear no translation will ever do it justice. Even so, this poem specifically exudes a type of yearning and desperation so typical of lost love it brings the reader to ask himself, where did, in fact, the author's beloved flee to? It is sad but hopeful altogether, for we are to be sure that, at least, the memory of the lost man will never fade, for it lives forever within love.

A beautiful text, really, yet I fear my nature will never let me appreciate it in its pure, delicate, togetherness; I am far too of a hedonist for that. Nonetheless, thank you, stranger; I am 2 months too late yet I hope you're still somewhere where my remarks may reach you.

I've been revisiting some discographies of artists I admire and there's a track I'd like to recommend to you, it's called Horses In My Dreams by PJ Harvey. It's my favorite song from the album: Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
