I don't know why I started shipping them I just looked at them and they changed my brain chemistry forever. I'm not usually used to shipping characters outside Hetalia, but I saw then together via art and something shifted in the universe. Either way I can't go back to an existence where I don't see them together anymore. I'm too far gone. I guess I just really like how tone-downed they are most of the time (?) Two old men taking their time. Very therapeutic on my soul. I need that sort of guaranteed feeling that they'd be together forever in my heart...
I also think me breaking up with my ex whilst getting into Hetalia had a big part in it I don't know lmao
