just read your fujo xray vision zine and wowee it hit very very close home as an another (albeit younger so im not even in the thick of it yet) fujo currently going through the Horrors of Higher Education. The part about loving the abstract and how it can make it easy to fall into doomscrolling and general too online behavior and especially the nice feeling of the disembodiment that makes being aware of one's physicality VERY uncomfortable. just. ow. ow ow ow.
the part with your mom made me recoil in my head a bit (i also grew up queer and weird in a religious environment and had almost the exact same convo with my own mother, the part about consuming the 'wrong' affects your brain and soul not the part where she discovers my noncon fanworks thank god)
being hardened by fandom discourse enough to see through a lot of bullshit rhetoric ouch

all this to say thank you for making that comic it just feels comforting to know im not alone in the things i experience and that i can still work it through despite it all. im a writer rather than an artist but you are a big inspo and i am grateful for your works and the opinions you share because many times u put my feelings into words, i also love your analysis even if i am not a history nerd at all you just make it that good and interesting. hopefully i too get to catch a plane to meet my friends and talk about yaoi and kink soon
