nah dw i turned 18 this month im not that young atleast compared to all the 11-14ys in this fandom & makes sense since enemies to lovers trope is usually very popular but i think nowdays there is more kyman content then in 2009 especially more pine kyman content (i heard that in that time mountain was very popular while pine barely existed) and yeah kinda sad how it became so hated like when i started to ship them i fr felt like i commited a crime with how these people are acting genuinely wanna know where all the hate came from since in other fandoms ive been in there were many "toxic" enemies to lovers ships and their still popular and loved
oh yes TOTALLY pine kyman is a very recent development, at least from my perspective. and i LOVE IT lmaooo but back then it was so much more common for cartman to be taller and top in a very stereotypical yaoi fashion AHHAAH which is fine i can totally enjoy my share of that. as i've said, i eat all kinds of kyman food (?)
but yeah i really don't get why they take this shit so seriously. it's south park. an enemies to lovers ship IS supposed to be toxic, for some reason some people say they like the trope but then don't like any kind of toxicity so ???? i don't get it. it's always been super popular. hopefully most ppl will grow out of their hater phase lol
