Turn it up and listen to the noises in the background. Goddammit Haobin, even Hanalin are classier!

What kind of music/genre do you usually write?

What kind of Jazz?
mostly fusion stuff, think of acts like fattburger, the rippingtons, etc and “adjacent” acts like santana, earth, wind & fire, etc
i play bossa most often after fusion, cos that’s really our family’s thing. then most other sub genres except those that came after bebop (basically free jazz bullshit)
How would you rank the aespa solos?
What is your creative process when starting to write a song? Do you write lyrics first, or melody, etc etc
i always start with the main theme or the message i want to impart to my listener. that way i don't really box myself into a specific flowchart which causes a lot of mental block. some themes/messages would be better off started with a melodic hook for example, some would be better off started with a beat, a lyrical hook, a guitar riff, etc etc i always keep my options open so i can flow more freely in my writing. if i had to force myself to always do lyrics>chords>melody>beat or any other specific flow, it would really hinder my progress and stunt the potential of the song i'm working on.
Would you ever do a podcast with Oppar? You could talk about jazz and sportsball
