i understand being upset and disappointed on the ⭐️bucks thing i am too but indonesians pick and choose who to cancel because why didn’t d.o.bese and greedhyun promoting actual brands under the BDS boycott didn’t get any backlash when majority of their fanbase comes from that country.
I don’t think there’s anything productive about playing the game of "who’s the least problematic" member and using the BDS movement as a measuring unit for your deduction. I wasn’t surprised at him drinking to Starbucks. I’m just being completely realistic. Maybe he knows, but I don’t think he cares. And I actually think the standards for idols in big companies like SM should be higher, since they have people in the company that monitors overseas fans reactions. However, that company clearly doesn’t care and has actively collaborated with both Starbucks and McDonald’s. Still, fans using it as a gotcha is incredibly tired. Yes, boycotting is incredibly important, but why would you use the plight of Palestinians/Gazans as the basis for a fanwar? That’s incredibly tone deaf to me
