They're much better than GBVSR and I'd credit that to the ENG voice actors growing into their character roles. A video I watched on Youtube (about James Bond of all things) spoke of how each Bond actor only really showed their confidence in it by their third movie (except poor Timothy Dalton). It had me think a lot about that; and also the fact that it's quite not fair to compare ENG dubbing to the seiyuus who have had these characters for almost 10 years. With that in mind, the job they have done with their characters has been admirable.

Though I have heard it kinda falls off with in battle quotes from some. I can't judge as I've not heard all, but I do know I really like the portrayal of the main crew characters voices, especially Katalina and Rosetta (Erica Lindbeck and Allegra Clark respectively who are two of my favourite VAs in any case).
