first of all, i dont know if other authors have it like this too, but i have different tropes that i like to read and different tropes that i like to write.

when it comes to reading, i love fluff and everything lovey dovey, fake relationships, enemies to lovers (my number one trope of all time, both to read and to write), idiots in love... you know, just fics that are warm and end happily.

when it comes to writing though... i love misunderstandings, unrequited love, lovers to strangers, soulmates, hurt/no comfort, slice of life, secret relationship and yk all the tropes that leave a lingering feeling that you cant get rid of even days after reading them. i really wish to become that kind of writer who writes beautifully and it blows your mind and it makes you cry but after you calm down, you feel happy that you could let the tears flow, because in the end, you feel understood and seen.

when it comes to taejun, its definitely enemies/rivals to lovers. LIKE LETS BE REAL HERE FOR A SECOND: 1) they would have the hottest heated arguments ever, 2) they both are very competitive and theyre perfectionists, 3) the rivalry would swallow them whole and they would be so obsessed with each other <33, 4) its like they know theyre the best at what they do, but eventually there are these doubts crawling from the dark which fuel the hatred even more until they suddenly break, 5) OH I LOVE IT WHEN ENEMIES GET TIRED OF COMPETING WITH EACH OTHER like :(( wdym you no longer hate me? :(( when did you stop obsessing over me? :(( i guess you truly hate me huh :(( oh, okay :((, 6) they are even more passionate about loving each other than they ever were about hating each other, sorry i dont make the rules <3

before i answer, i want you to know that theres no such thing as "top ships" with me because i possibly cannot pick favourites even if it looks like it!! i love all ships equally!!!

but to answer this:

1) taejun (everyone act super surprised real quick) - i simply cannot put it into words... i just loved them too much from the start. it might be because im a sucker for special bonds? like they knew each other for the longest time, they have this mutual driving force bond, also eternal admiration for each other... i see them as soulmates and its the best thing in the world that they got to meet...

2) soogyu (every gasp) - theyre just EVERYTHING like man if i ever had soo to my gyu i would believe that i won at life. theyre soulmates pt 2. i love their bond and love how they love each other and how they care for eachother and and and and

3) tyunning - Crying very hard as i type this. taehyun is so so gentle with hueningkai and hueningkai is taehyuns happy pill and i love how despite their contrasting personalities theyre best friends you could ever imagine🥹 like. i dont even know what to say bc im truly about to tear up. someone check up on me and send me tyunning content immediately

4) beomkai, yeonkai, sookai, taegyu, beomjun, yeonbin i love them all sorry this isnt the answer you were looking for😞😞

HELLO!! anon i hope you know what you signed up for when you asked this... so you see, i wrote fools where i thought of taehyun as the little prince. because it made sense? pretty boy full of love who gets suddenly lost in the vast vast space all alone surrounded by strangers who never truly care about his (non)existence. until he meets his fox that becomes a living reminder of what's important... he teaches him to love. yeonjun fits that role oh so perfectly. i was thinking of pre-debut taejun when i wrote that too and it broke me into millions of tiny pieces. when they parted, a part of me passed with them. to think the fox was tamed and left alone is so shattering... not to mention the concept trailer WAS literally about the same thing i was going insane... i also couldn't help but cry when the promise pics came out... especially to think i immediately knew i needed that version when the blurred pcs were posted and there was this rose.... this album is truly for me...

promise... what i think about yeonjun as the little prince... it literally brought me back to section 5... taehyun, the fox, tries so so hard to find his prince and be with him, only to find him... yea... well... you know... rip. i can't help but think about mcd all the time when it comes to txt lore. especially now that this album is the little prince related and before we got peter pan concept. isn't it strange to realise they're showing us the depth of "children stories" that truly aren't all happy and pure, rather scary and dark.

it hurts to imagine yeonjun as the little prince who feels so abandoned and so alone in the strange (adult) world. he tries to find someone like him, someone who would understand or someone worth staying for. then we have the fox, taehyun, who is everyone yeonjun ever needed. until he remembers there is his rose out there, waiting for him. and that brings me to the idea of dried flowers. when they all sit in front of the glass "coffin" kind of a thing... it makes me think of how they're proving that love is dead. before you realise what you have, it's gone. now the little prince abandoned the fox for the rose that doesn't exist anymore. the separation he went through might just ruin him. and it does.

there's this vibe the pictures give but i'm not sure how to describe it... is it waiting? yearning? hoping? praying? to get at least something. the powerlessness of it all... it hurts so badly and i love it.

of course i forgot to mention how HEAVENLY they all look.... i know it might seem like my favourite concepts would be light and promise BUT truly i cannot pick a favourite because😵‍💫 i would be crazy. the outfits and makeup and overall vibes are so on point this time... ahhh.

what made me really happy is that they also incorporated a fox into the concept pics too? like in light🥹 it truly got me crying. i sound like such a crybaby at this point, but it got me so emotional.
