I would love to know what irl jobs you think dazai and chuuya would have? everyone seems to have a different idea of what they would do, I personally lean towards stem chuuya (physics or engineering) and humanities dazai (writing, art, law, philosophy) but you've written so many different au's for them I'm curious what you think fits them best?
I love stem Chuuya! I also think he'd be good at things like firefighting, paramedic, emergency surgeon bc he is good in high pressure and emergency situations and has this need to protect people + he is good at following orders. Chuuya is the epitome of a knight-coded character to me lmao in a royal setting, he'd be a knight 100%.
With Dazai I'm not as sure hmmm I think he would be a GREAT lawyer, but I also feel like it's a kind of profession that could clash with his mental health. Would it fulfill him? I don't know for sure, but I know he'd slay in court lol. I can see writing and philosophy too although with philosophy, unless he was a professor (which I love!) the lack of structure and routine would make Dazai spiral if you get what I mean. Dazai is someone that I believe needs this golden middle between structure and freedom. Too much of either is risky. He'd be a good politician but, again, would end up just as miserable in the PM eventually. Maybe with the right people and team, he would enjoy being some kind of PR manager/ strategist or publicist hahah I think he would find it fun to manipulate PR disasters and scandals to make his clients look good. I could see him in the stem field too, especially in research! So as you can see I'm still not entirely sure no matter how many times I've had to find professions for Dazai :")

when i first read eod i my english was still awful and for some reason i thought chuuya being a mechanic meant he was some kind of mechanical creature like a robot and i expected dazai to turn human chuuya into a robot to preserve his mind, soul and personality so imagine my disappointment when he didn't

What do you head canon or truly think Dazai wanted to say with the whole “indelibly fated to” deal?
tbh I think Dazai knew Chuuya was faking the vamp thing at that point (bc of surviving the elevator drop) so he was just taking the piss out of the situation and trying to embarrass Chuuya with a dramatic sappy speech bc being extremely annoying is his love language ❤️ I believe he was being genuine when Chuuya was drowning though

Oh, it‘s so sweet of you to ask 😭🥹 I‘ve been (mostly) stomach ache free for 2-3 weeks now hallelujah. I had an h.pylori infection but for some reason a doctor only thought about testing me for it after like 2 months lol so I think if I had been prescribed antibiotics from the start, I could have been better much much sooner 😭

when Dazai got on the ice i froze right along with Chuuya 😭 that moment was so impactful— especially with the knowledge that it caused Dazai pain to do it. do you have any plans to dip into Dazai’s chronic pain or the physical toll helping Chuuya could have on him? i never want this fic to end, thank you so much for writing it 🥹💗
