its been a few days since wiege released, and i would like to preface this that im not a hater. i love the song, i LOVE hyuna, i think hyunaluka is tragicly alluring.. luka on his own is... debatable, but thats besides the point i wanted to make.
the point is, is it just me, or was that g*nshot totally avoidable and (spoiler warning i guess) that death was completely unnecessary?? the gunman had his pistol pointed literally on luka's forehead. why didnt he just shoot?? he literally waited for luka to walk past him, across the stage to hyuna, and hyuna couldve, idk, said WAIT DONT SHOOT. or she couldve pushed him to the ground idk??? its just so absurd.
i dont mind anybody dying, more than half the cast are gone anyway. its just how she died makes me crash out.
you sent this a while ago i'm sorry for the belated reply! i was originally just going to agree but then the alnst friday comic with hyuna's POV came out and it made me reanalyze their writing choices and why they chose to do hyuna's death scene like that. i think i understand a lot more about hyuna's character and i see the parallels they were trying to make with it -- though that doesn't really absolve them of any of the criticisms you brought up. i'm fine with hyuna dying and i really expected either one of them to die within that episode, but i do agree that hyuna dying to a gunshot from her own team seemed very absurd. for as much as hyuna has survived through with escaping and joining the rebellion, it seemed rather anti-climatic for her character to die to something so... incompetent, i guess?
shrugs. i'm willing to trust and see where vivimeng takes the story bc i do think that they're really talented artists and writers. so i guess we'll see!

what i really love about the new alnst friday comic is the fact hyuka looks genuinely distressed in thhat panel where everyone's like "what is blud waffling abt" like remove the blush and he's making the same gesture as someone who forgot to lock the door before going out, in his head he's like oh fuccckkkkkk we should've kissed, right, that would've made us closer, right, why didn't i think of this before

im sorry they forced you into deleting that you literally did nothing wrong and all the context was right there 😭 no one fault but theirs. they need to watch their words before they accuse a simple silly post of evil misinformation they themselves spread around
i would have deleted it of my own accord anyways since it went so far out of my circle and the discussion around it was making me uncomfortable to see. like i said, i made that post in the moment simply bc i was excited to see crumbs of a ship that i like, regardless of the non-canonical nature of the interaction. i put the context directly underneath the post right when i posted it bc i didn't want people to think it was real, but to be honest, it's not like i should expect people to read the entire thread on twitter. make no mistake, i wasn't trying to "mislead" anyone nor make "rage bait", but that's what ended up happening so i took it down. also i guess people might think i'm being disingenuous when i say this since some might consider me a "big" account but i never expected that amount of interactions on my tweet.
i do appreciate all the supportive messages people have sent me, but i don't think i'll reply to any more since i don't want to drag this on any longer than needed. additionally, refering to a few other asks i've gotten, i wanted to say that i have no interested in being roped into ship wars. i would much rather focus on the ships that i enjoy, and it's much more enjoyable for me when a ship is able to stand on its own merit instead of being constantly compared to other ships. thank you <3

hii sorry for bothering u but just want to let u know apparently ur latest tweet (the mzumiko one) has attracted many toxic ppl that trying to use mzmiko ship as a shield for hating on another ship.. don't get me wrong i love mzumiko but unfortunately most of them didn't read ur further explanation & ended up being misinformed which sadly they see it as the downfall of another ship. i love both ships & i just hope ppl can hype both ships without trying to "end" the other one..
