syongnen isnt my top ship but the hate they get is insane, they’re real people at the end of the day with a friendship that we as fans do not know! shipping is one thing because its all in good humor but outright hating on two people’s relationship and saying they HATE each other is gross. if syongnen isnt ur fav thats ok! doesn’t need to be. just leave their shippers alone and im sorry for ur all ur weird rs lately, people need to be normal :/

it’s my first time actually taking part in a rps community (usually i’d watch from afar) and i think it’s really fun. obviously some people are really against it (which, i’m not surprised i actually thought it’d be worse) and i’ve heard that compared to the normal side fujo briizes on twt are much nicer and more accessible (they interact more and follow back easily, etc)
omg glad ur having fun so far!! it can be daunting whenever ur new to something, hope ur able to make lots of friends here.
normal side ajsjsk i think fujoing out is or was (?) the normal in kpop but we are losing recipes atm 😭 anyways im lucky to have met super nice oomfs on here so my experience is mostly positive as well.

9/10 just bc i always gotta leave some room for improvement but overall its pretty healthy here imo i think syongnenists dont take themselves too seriously w this ship and thats crucial.. also ive never seen someone like syongnen in a not genuine way or secretly disliking the other member which often happens with other ships sadly..

ok i think it’s because i came from a place with a more toxic rpf attitude AND i don’t ship a “big” ship AND i wasn’t here in the early days but the rps rpf here is quite good a solid 7/10 imo

hiii ok i just wanted to know what are your thoughts about the fact that rz rps has almost overtaken the entire fandom when months ago you guys were being crucified for it 😭? bc its sooo crazy to me omg
im curious too about this, has it rly changed that much? rps/rpf ppl (who has always existed and formed the core of fandoms communities since the dawn of time mind you) are forced to hide what with fandom spaces nowadays (the western side especially) being a battleground for moral superiority and puritanism.
so if we're seeing more ppl being into rps/rpf i think its more so that either the fandom numbers growing, or ppl are tired of all the weird censorship (that's often fueled by homophobia btw!) thats going on.
fandoms are supposed to be a safe space for creatives, ppl looking for a sense of community, lgbtq+ ppl, those who otherwise irl dont have an outlet to express themselves. likewise, rps/rpf is one outlet and a part of what makes fandoms fun. so maybe ppl are slowly realizing that letting loose and embracing the "unhinged" is where all the joy comes from.
