Your answers to the typology thing are so interesting, and I agree with a lot of what you said!! I do enjoy thinking about mbti from time to time, but I 100% started enjoying it more when I stopped taking it seriously π To me it isn't an Objective Truth, it's more like a tool to get to know myself better! Trying to figure out what type fitted me has helped me a lot to understand certain parts of my brain (not bc of mbti on its own, more so bc I just had to Sit And Think About How My Brain Works for hours)
In terms of fictional characters, I completely agree. I've always found it hard to "type" characters unless there's like- clear things I can pinpoint that relate to a certain function, so I only go to pdb to see what the general consensus is sometimes, but I DO NOT TRUST THOSE GUYS ππ SPECIALLY WITH CHARACTERS AS DEEP AS OBBY/SAKI... Even if I still find typing some characters fun, there's definitely better ways to analyze some characters and tbh I feel like mbti can't be use to explain /everything/. To me is just a fun little add on sometimes :)
It's mostly bc of what you said I think... Like.. At the end of the day mbti relies a lot on if YOU think that certain group of letters is relatable to you. I've come to like mbti solely as a personal type of introspection tool. so with fictional characters it's complicated bc you can't just go and ask "hey dude do u relate to this analysis of an outsider of your mind or not" πππ
