its not a bad thing, i enjoy being able to freely talk about stuff without being shut down :)
like i love to listen, 9 times of 10 in an irl situation im a listener. introvert shit n all. i also just value people having their voice heard. but when im able to get comfortable i will talk like no tomorrow. often times it can scare off people, which kinda sucks because i deemed them safe in my head, yknow? so it leads to situations where i dont open up a lot. i try to come off as just quiet and chill but i got a lot of social anxiety,,, i guess its different here bc its my own little curated online space. you guys are chill so far. i think this is ranty enough?

oh boy youre in for the yappening. the yappageddon.
so okami is a 2006 capcom game from the ps2 era made by the former clover studios (most transferred over to platinum studios!). its an action adventure rpg where you get to play as amaterasu, goddess of the sun. she takes the form of a wolf!!! god is dog hehe. but she has this ability called the celestial brushstrokes, where we can 'bend the very reality of the earth' with a simple stroke of ink. its a really cool and clever way to incorporate the sumi-e art style the game uses. a lot of the story follows along with various japanese folklore and mythology, and puts pretty unique twists on them too. general gist is that ammy had a giant fight with oorochi 100 or so years ago, and died (fell asleep) due to the wounds. years later she gets called back because nippon is falling back into darkness. in her years gone, her powers (each represented by a different god) scattered and went into hiding; leaving her very weak. so she journeys around regaining her power and fighting threats!
the gameplay is often compared to LOZ: twilight princess, and i believe a lot of the puzzling and some gameplay mechanics are inspired from LOZ in general. its funny though because okami came out first yet gets called a TP copy. fake fans smh... anyways. its just a game im really passionate about, im not kidding when i say that this game is what got me into really loving art. its probably the franchise ive spent the most money on concerning merch too lol

oh yes absolutely yes!!! gamewise, my all time favorite game would be okami, god its literally a masterpiece to me. and some other games i like would be bayonetta, pokemon (gen 5 esps), final fantasy (x & x-2), kingdom hearts, monster hunter, fire emblem, and muse dash (along with other rhythm games). for shows, i mainly watch anime lol. shoutout to the time i got reincarnated by a slime and the ancient magus bride my beloveds!!! oh, a friend has been slowly getting me into transformers so theres that. OH! im insane about lego monkie kid too. if you couldnt tell i gravitate towards a lot of mythology/fantasy stuff for the most part.
