Will album was mostly skips for me, the latest japanese cbs were horrible imo, i didnt like a single song from golden hour pt1, so ive been waiting for pt2 to see if i can still call myself an atiny bc im first and foremost here for the music and if its gonna suck again im not gonna call myself a fan anymore. i dont wanna be pessimistic but with this preview/teaser and cringey title its not looking good. i wish they stopped using random english phrases and had good choruses again. im soooo upset cuz im alr attached to the guys ive been an atiny for years😭😭😭😭 but i seriously dont like the direction theyre taking with their music💔 and it seems like this is what they like too so idk if i cant appreciate their artistry or whatever then what am i even doing here yk.
i think a lot of people feel your ‘pain’ in this, especially if you’ve been an atiny for a long time. for me, will still had some good songs, despite it not being coherent with the two other albums in the era (or even coherent as an album on its own lol). golden hour pt 1 wasn’t really my style, and IOMT is definitely not my type of song — it was quite disappointing to me. i liked the b sides better than gh1, but it’s not any that i reach for. i’m just replying older albums 😭
i think despite this, their artistry still does shine out, and they still do unique things, especially with their mvs! i think the mv theme was super cool with IOMT, but i do agree that i miss the more connected universe/storyline. their concerts are still as banger, if not even better, when it comes to stage props etc.
how’s your stance after this? i think ill still be atiny and support them no matter what, because i genuinely like them as a group and as people 🥺💗
