ah i just came back to the svsss fandom after like a 1-2 year break for my mental health and irl stuff, so im not that in the loop w the happenings of the fandom.

i havent heard of the sy = sj hc, or if there were any discourse associated with it. im not sure what aspects of sy and sj that hc refers to so im not sure i should say too much until i've seen the hc myself. but imo, based on their vibes, theyre very different from each other. even in canon, or like fannish stuff, i dont think theyd necessarily be "=" to each other.

if you disagree w a hc, thats alright! hcs are just for fun anyway. and there's so much stuff that goes into hcs everyone makes that i dont think it's humanly possible to like them all hahahah so youre totally valid if you feel that the sy = sj headcanon isnt your cup of tea!
