Cute concept actually I've never thought of this before and I also don't watch vtubers but I watch several streamers and I can imagine that being appealing to a kaname who either physically can't or is too afraid to go outside and interact with people irl.

Idk what he'd even stream but he'd be so happy when people come into his chat and talk to him, follow him, show up for his streams, etc etc. But it'd be a double edged sword bc while the attention and interaction would make him really happy, criticism and hate would really effect him too. iirc (idk my brain might have made this up but) hate mail was filtered out by the school when kaname was an active idol? But he wouldn't have that luxury as a self-managing online content creator. He'd be able to see the mean things ppl might say and probably cry about it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
