AHAHAHA, thanks for the ask! i'm never not generating pearlina au's because of who i am as a person, so i've got way too much to get into in just one ask, but below are some of the ones i've been thinking about lately:

• beauty and the beast au (working on something for it, i figure this is probably the one that sparked this ask)
• ffxiv au, pearl is a raen heiress from kugane and pearl is a viera defector from garlemald (... no comment on whether i'll write it, but it's fun to think about)
• "human" au, which is actually wtfoctagon's, wherein marina is a werewolf doing her undergrad, pearl is a master's/early phd student who runs into marina wolfing out when supervising an event for her frat, and marina promptly falls in love n is totally normal about it (it's not my au so it's not mine to write but my god. so fun)
• turncoat au, where marina is assigned to infiltrate inkling society n exploit weaknesses from within/feed octarians valuable information. she meets pearl, falls in love, n starts to second-guess her loyalties (will not write, i don't really like this narrative for pearlina)
• hadestown au (writing but very, very slow)
• eros and psyche au (will not write <3 i just like to rotate it. i'd change the initial setup a little bit to be less. like that, though)

and that's just like. some of them. get me going on the others and i'll never stop, so i'll cut it off there. and thanks for asking after me too, i'm doing alright! :D
