tell me more doflaw thoughts please 🥺

They’re so good orz
Thank you for the question

I wish I had clever thoughts but whenever they’re mentioned I just sigh dreamily and think about the canon. (Not past Wano yet, so if there’s more to them than dressrosa then I wouldn’t know!) About Doflamingo’s veins popping when people spoke bad about tiny Law, about the way he yelled. About him on that stupid loft of his reading up about Law’s hometown so he could know everything about him. This tiny little brat who showed up to his doorstep and started ranting of the same dreams that fuelled Doflamingo’s a(de)scent,

Doflamingo was everything Law wanted to be in life, for just a second. And Law was the perfect partner in crime for Doflamingo, one he decided right then and there would be his next right hand man.

They’re just so good, so exquisite. It makes me so curious about how things would’ve looked if Doflamingo’s plans were never interrupted. Or even, how Doflamingo felt when he first saw Law’s wanted posted. It’d only have been four or five years since they last saw one another, but the Law on the poster would be an adult, and the Law in Doflamingo’s memory would still be a child.

I wonder if Doflamingo ever looked for him. Eight years passed after that first poster, he must’ve looked for him. Or had associates of his run into him; navy or pirates or what.

I wonder about what bits of their stories we haven’t been told. I wonder how often Law — who lived, since the day [spoiler] died, solely to kill Doflamingo — thinks about Doflamingo, now that the matter is over. Is it over? Does he sleep well at night knowing Doflamingo is still alive, and out there? Does his skin crawl at the thought of it? Must he remind himself every day that there are other reasons he’s alive?

And oh, Doflamingo. If he were to get back out, what would he do? Who would he run to? What has he been thinking of?

They’re just so exquisite, really can’t stop bouncing them off of one another in my head.

Thank you!! For letting me ramble
