I also saw the movie and I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did! I'm not a fan of horrors, but this is more of a comedy/parody with a lot of slashing involved (but that doesn't bother me).
And yes, of course Bash was great! I think Sam is actually my favorite character played by Bash, gotta love our smarmy-vegan-demon-twink with ADHD ;)
