I DON'T HAVE A DEFINITE ANSWER FOR THIS BUT!!!! It's honestly gonna be a very specific rose I don't know which one yet I'll dive back into my flower research from middle school for that oh my god. Oh my god it truly depends on where you ask in the timeline. I'LL ANSWER FOR POST-CANON honestly she isn't big on gifts simply because she isn't used to it, so she'll smile at everything the people dear to her will offer... She never truly thinks about these things. She really improved on that because pre+during canon she'd panic and dissociate if you ever got her a thing

DOUBLE DEAAAAATTTHHHH DOUBLE DEATH DOUBLE DEATH A THOUSAND TIMES THEM !!!!!!!! I could make entire essays about them I rant about them all the time they're my most insanely lovesick ocxcc ship. COMPOSED OF KUUGO AND MEBAE!!!! I don't know how I could keep this short so we'll see where this goes BUT they're so in love with each other... They meet 3 whole centuries before bleach even starts but they can never even be together in canon because they're separated for over 300 years. But they trust each other like nobody else to the point of never doubting their survival because of the simple fact the other is alive. Because they could never truly be separated I HATE THEM I SWEAR I HATE THEEEMMMM

How does Mebae feel when she dances again for the first time in a very long time? Like, after stopping for so long, when she dances again after the final arc ends, is she sorrowful? Happy? What do you think the tone of a scene like that would be?
It's the freest she'd feel in centuries. Actually, I think at that moment, it's the freest she'd ever feel since the beginning, because dancing is the only thing she did that has never been associated with any painful memories of hers. It'd make her feel so alive she'd dance alone for hours on end and I think that would motivate her enough to perform in front of people again :)

OH HER DANCING FOR SURE!!!! She led multiple performances in her youth back in the human world , and even though she stopped for a very long time due to what she went through , I'm certainly gonna make her pick dance back up after the final arc ends because it really is her passion. She would've been a professional choreographer if she wasn't a shinigami! Also, she ends up being very proud of her fighting abilities during the last arc when she learns to use it to protect other people. She lost a lot of people close to her in the past , so finally being able to use her strength so it doesn't happen again really makes her feel better. She also uses these abilities to train the younger shinigamis in training , so it makes her pretty happy :))

I'll be honest here I really can't pick One Headcanon that I value more than my other favorite ones , so I don't know how satisfying my answer can be here , but I'd say there at least Is a type of headcanon I feel most found of being depression headcanons.. I don't talk about it much because people may dislike them but one of the characters I headcanon depression on is Jaehee from Mystic Messenger. I haven't played the game in a while though , so I don't exactly remember how I came to this (she's also autistic , her special interest being coffee , she always talks about how it's made and she's the reason I actually wanted to like it)
