it's encouraging to keep seeing boycotters on my tl as opposed to previous comebacks, but i also can't ignore the part of my brain that tells me majority of your kind of thread will keep falling on deaf ears, i honestly don't know what it'll take for them to take it seriously. i also just wonders sometimes on what goes through my non boycotter mutuals mind whenever they see me speaking of the topic or rating some stuff but ignore posts like that and interact with the other ones lol. anyway thanks for making the thread, i agree heavily on "and if txt don’t understand what we’re advocating for when this boycott works then that’s on them bc they’re Adults!" because my adoration and love for them doesn't blind me from my morals and the fandom's love for consumerism lol.
THANK YOU!!! it’s actually so disheartening to see most of my mutuals ignore this thread and interact with my other ones indeed and it feels like we’re alone in a big crowd that moves differently and has to split things into different categories to justify their behaviour when they’re essentially all connected to one another. but i’ll still call for boycotting and remind my mutuals bc it might awaken the sense of someone who was hesitant on it. and honestly im not expecting my boycotting tweets to blow up or smth so even if some mutuals see it and take time to consider each time then its a step closer towards the goal. and trulyyy my interests will never cloud my moral judgment on real life issues of staggering effects and its only those who are privileged and suffer from community dissonance that extract themself out of the situation even tho it affects everyone whether they realise it or not. thank u again i love to know some ppl gaf
