ok first of all i need you to *** second of all i think if something were to ever happen to ray it would cause mighty to reevaluate his morals especially if him sparing an enemy was what lead to losing ray. whereas sonic will most likely pick himself back up after some time i don't think mighty would be the same. if the roles are swapped ray would also undergo a major personality change. he tries to seek comfort in others but it's not the same and he's still lonely
