hi anon!! thank youuu im alright, hope you’re also doing well!! yep, the new wufs (the three extra ones) are an ad system indeed! aside from the normal wuf (i think for htwmho it’s a seven day waiting period? so one wuf a week without having to watch an ad), you get three “free” chapters when you watch three ads, and those three ads reset every day. you can use those three extra ads for any chapter (even the ones technically without “wuf” next to the chapter) as long as the manhwa appears in the “watch video ads” list. so technically you can read chapters 67 til 91 within 9 days for completely free. but what i do, since i don’t have the patience, is make a couple more accounts so i can make use of more than those three extra chapters a day shsjsjsj.

so, to put it simple, there’s a wuf without ads. these have different waiting times depending on the manhwa itself. some reset within 3hours, some within a day and for others you have to wait a week.
and then there’s the “watch video wuf”. you get three of those a day and they can be used on normal wuf chapters or locked chapters (the ones you technically have to pay for with ink).

okay so spoilers!!! (and apologies bc i suck at explaining. this will most likely be a mess). i’ll try and tell just the broad outlines, but the side stories were told through jioh’s friend’s pov! (i forgot her name shdjsjsj). she noticed that both jioh and gyeol acted differently and was curious what it was that made them change. jioh and gyeol are highschool sweethearts and practically attached at the hip all the time😭 we also got to see a moment of jioh and gyeol talking in a park where jioh was talking abt her worries of the cycle repeating itself and gyeol trying to reassure her. at the end of the side story jioh invited her friend to meet up at a restaurant to tell the news about her marriage herself. ending with a panel of jioh smiling brightly, finally being truly happy 🥹

i feel like this would also be important to say, but the friend caught gyeol and jioh talking in the park and overheard some things. gyeol noticed, gave her a drink too (he initially went to get jioh something to drink since she was crying), and told her that jioh would tell her her secret when she’s ready. at the end of the side story, when jioh told her abt her marriage, the friend was happy for jioh and asked if she was truly happy, to which jioh responded “what to say when it’s obvious”, and had a feeling that she soon would be able to hear their secrets as well. id like to imagine that they both told her after the wedding 😭😭
