Favorite Law hc?
this is a tough one because i'm such a big "what if" person that my hcs are all over the place but the one i probably come back to the most (which may or may not actually be canon but i feel like if so we just haven't seen enough of it and likely never will) is that law is just as fun and silly as anyone else - though with an admittedly very different sense of humor - but he's so deep in character trying to protect his rep and his crew that he's even forgotten this about himself and i'm just hoping one day this man is going to break character and we'll get to see him laugh himself sick but like tl;dr i guess: op party law is the real law

oh this is a good question...2 that come to mind immediately are a punk au because op characters fit into that so well especially the captain trio and i COULD write it but every time i really think about it for some reason my brain just goes Nah. the other is a space horror fic along the lines of something like event horizon or dead space just because i'm not very smart when it comes to scifi stuff even tho i enjoy it so it'd just take way too much time and energy for me to feel like i was doing it any sort of justice

oof i'm terrible at picking favs so i'm gonna limit this to completed works to make it a bit easier, not putting descriptions but added the urls so you can look for yourself. in no specific order:
Trials & Titillations by Callunar (https://archiveofourown.org/works/50914435) - this is one of the first genderbend fics i've read that i actually liked, it's such a fun read and i absolutely love the characterization
Tea'sing All The Way Through by Camafeu (https://archiveofourown.org/works/19360531) - this fic is pretty emotionally intense and i read it fairly recently but it hit me in a really vulnerable spot and i think about it all the time
let the tides carry you back to me by sweetdd (https://archiveofourown.org/works/53136379) - i have a hard time articulating the way i love this fic because it's such a specific feeling to me, but there is such love and tenderness even in the bits of internal turmoil and i keep coming back to it
Fatal Attraction by Nekerb (https://archiveofourown.org/works/9840179) - mutually unhinged/toxic lawlu my beloved...they're serial killers in this one, the plot is super interesting, but MIND THE TAGS it gets pretty graphic so if you can't stomach detailed gore this one might not be for you
Boyfriend's Duties by martilla (https://archiveofourown.org/works/41524560) - just a joy to read really. the relationship progression and the conflict feels very realistic for law and luffy and while sometimes my interest will admittedly waver with these kinds of fics this one easily kept my attention the whole time

i'm so sorry i fell asleep the other day and forgot that i was going to answer questions 😭 but this is kind of a tough one believe it or not because i feel like if i'm writing something i can kind of wrangle them into any kink i want, BUT they're both really curious and adventurous people so i think they'd be into trying a lot of stuff, law would jsut be the one who had to point out the potential issues and reasons they might NOT want to do something but in the end luffy can talk/fuck him into just about anything. it might as well be canon that law has a big sadomasochistic streak and he and luffy can both handle a LOT so all sorts of pain play are on the table, and medical kink including vivisection 😈 and not gonna lie, with the gloves and everything i think it'd be extremely funny for a rubber man to have a latex fetish lmao.
size difference for sure, mostly on law's part, especially now that g5 sex is a possibility, uhhhh breeding, cockwarming...i'm definitely rambling and forgetting things but if i don't stop i'm gonna be here all night

uhhhh ok maybe opening myself up to some bullshit I think it's pretty likely that Trebol (and maybe the other executives) abused Doflamingo in every sense til they realized he was going to be that much stronger and now they're stuck under his thumb

Luffy doesn't know how to tie his shoelaces in a modern au, but is a pro at tangling things into knots by accident
absolutely, Luffy refuses to wear regular shoes because the last time he did he fucked up the laces and couldn't get them back off and Ace had to very carefully cut them off for him

❤️❤️ thank you, I love the community that's been created around being deranged about Law's loser ass!! Aside from lulaw I can get behind a lot of ships just for fun but I do specifically like kid/killer, kidlaw, ASL/law, zolawlu, nami with almost any woman but especially vivi and wanda, usosan, frobin, saboala, kilpen uhhh. I also like a lot of the "problematic" shit like doflaw, coralaw, dofcora, saboace etc which i guess might put some people off and I get it but I'm not interested in pretending I'm not into stuff just because of that ¯_(ツ)_/¯ i guess I'm just fixated on lulaw rn since I enjoy writing them the most
As for favorite lulaw trope I really enjoy when Law thinks Luffy is inexperienced and/or naive and plans to show Luffy how it's done til he fucks around and finds out. demi4demi lulaw is also very chef's kiss to me
