there is so much about evil zone i appreciate (the 90s anime pastiches are tremendous, paul eiding is in it, even the simplicity bit is neat) but it just does not stick the landing. fun fact: my boss at work played evil zone as a teen and called her RP buddy out for calling alty al lazel their "original character"
