I always felt like horikoshi made the saving villains thing more an izuocha thing than savior trio thing I guess it was his way to push them together but I don’t get why shoto wasn’t included more with them

eh, it could have been an izuocha thing but they never really developed with each other on that outside the cliff scene. they both already knew they wanted to save toga/shigaraki when they finally talked about it. all 3 of them sort of came to their conclusions independently
