everyone is saying satoru was taken from his parents but i thought gege just said they became distant from each other because his parents weren't involved with his training?? english is hard.
I mean the translation says "they became distant" as in they couldn't be part of Gojo's training since they weren't strong sorcerers. Maybe "taken" isn't the best word but I assumed his parents couldn't have done much anyway, so as a kid he became distant with his parents not because he wanted but because he had to. That's how i interpreted it.
