this actually reminds me of your aromantic mttw wip that you posted before. tere having internal conflicts and mttw being oblivious of his effects on others
yes!! tbh aromantic mttw was initially conceived w/ tr in mind specifically but the 3 + 1 format fit with mttw's Usual Suspects. but maettael in particular have this wonderful friction of "understanding but not saying" vs "saying but not understanding". everything that matters is what goes unsaid between them and it's beautifully fraught and angsty hehe. sometimes that leads me to write very heartwarming scenes, other times it spawns the aromatic mttw wip
