TF artist!
512
Do you like feet?
I love your art but I've always been wanting to see some more male art :( As a gay guy I rarely ever see any art of this kind with male characters.
I’ve drawn weird TFs with male characters before but I feel you! It’s definitely something that I don’t draw as often even though I do enjoy it and know how scarce it is. When it comes to my own art production, there are several reasons for this:
First of all, I must admit that there is personal preference involved. Most of the time I like to draw female transformees (or at least originally female, if they end up differently by the end of it), and I mainly consider male transformees for TFs that I come up with for myself, or for non-gay couple scenarios. Curiously enough, most of the M/M TF ideas I have mostly gravitate to more vanilla changes.
Most importantly though, it seems like, when it comes to TF, male-centric content seems to spark less interest than female-centric content. And the more niche you get, the more noticeable it is; it’s hard enough getting eyes on most of my weird TF or body modification pieces so, as someone who is aiming to make a living exclusively off of art, going for a male TF piece is a tough sell because I know it’s most likely not going to perform as well (because, so far, my male-centric TFs haven’t) and nowadays I do have to consider that because this is my part-time job now and I am determined make it a full-time gig in the future.
As someone who is also a fan, I know how disappointing it is to know that an artist you like enjoys a certain kink of yours that is not as commonplace or that is not represented as often, but doesn’t draw it as much (or at all) because they prioritize making “X” or “Y” (usually more “mainstream”) content. But now, as an artist too, I understand it: it comes down to support, visibility and viability. Which works of mine are people sharing? What kind of content are people interested in commissioning? What kind of content is bringing people to the Patreon? Unfortunately, oftentimes the answers to those questions prevent or discourage artists from putting more of their chips on those more niche kinks.
To put it succinctly, there needs to be both interest and support to incentivize an artist to lean more heavily onto a certain kind of content. The interest is there: I would love to draw that kind of content and, thanks to comments and questions like this one (which I love getting), I know that there are people out there wanting to see that happen. I believe, in fact, that there is way more interest in these niche fetishes than most people see or even realize, but it needs to translate to support for it to have a bigger impact.
So how can someone support and help an artist to create more of the content one wants to see? Share their work! Spread it around by reposting or showing it to your friends or even just telling them about it, follow, like and comment on social media; and if you can and want to, you can also commission them, or subscribe to them in any or their platforms, or send a small tip to let them know that you enjoyed a certain piece of theirs. The most important thing is to not be silent, there’s nothing more discouraging than sharing something you enjoy or feel strongly about and have it be seemingly met with indifference. If you like “X” kind of content, make sure to click the share button when you see it, it takes barely any time and effort but it can have an immense impact.
Anyway, I hope you don’t get overwhelmed by this answer! The question hit close to home so I had a lot to say; obviously the bulk of it isn’t directed at you specifically, but at all the peeps that are following me and hoping to see more of any one kind of content from me.
When it comes specifically to gay male weird TF content, I don’t have any currently in the works but it’s more likely than not that I will make some in the future. When that time comes, I only ask that everyone who enjoys it and/or would like to see more of it in the future please shares it and spreads the love!
Hi there! I highly admire your style- it's just fun to look at, especially how you render volumes and use lineweight. I really wanted to say that, but also do have a question:
How do you get over the nerves of posting extreme kink online? It's really scary, people are so judgemental, and really cruel in a way that isn't just kinky fun.
Thanks for continuing to post great art, in spite of that kind of person! It may seem silly to talk about it this way, but artists like you are a real inspo for me.
Hello!
First of all, thanks a lot for your kind words! I still have a lot I want to improve at but I’m very happy to hear that my current work already has qualities that people find visually appealing (beyond the ideas and concepts).
Regarding your question, I count myself very lucky because so far the amount of times I’ve had negative interactions with people concerning my art, or that I have felt nervous or scared about posting it have been few and far between. This is going to sound stupidly obvious but bad reactions to any kind of content come from people that don’t like it, so finding the right places to post one’s stuff with people that share one’s interests is very important. This is not to say that posting such content in more mainstream or popular hubs is wrong (it isn’t!), but facing negative reactions there is almost impossible to avoid, so it requires having a thick hide that one might lack at the beginning. I personally stick to places where my content is welcome and curate it a bit when I venture elsewhere.
Another issue that I’ve found to cause anxiety is having a pre-existing audience or social circle. I’m aware of a few other artists that also have weird interests which they rarely or never share because of the possible pushback or judgement from the people that follow them exclusively for their tamer stuff. This is a tough spot to be in because it takes a lot of guts to suddenly open up like that to that many people. I was super fortunate in that I didn’t have any kind of following when I realized I wanted to draw the stuff I draw now, I just made fresh accounts everywhere and began posting weird stuff without fear of anyone’s expectations. If you already have some eyes on you, maybe a secret alt or sharing only with certain people would help. I personally began sharing this stuff with my mate before I decided to share it on the internet.
Lastly, it all gets better with time and positive feedback. If you have a yearning to make and share this stuff like I do, it will be incredibly gratifying and rewarding to finally do it and connect with people that are as passionate about it as you. The fear of taking those first steps will seem minuscule after you get going and begin enjoying the journey.
There’s a lot more to be said but this answer is super long already! Thanks a lot for your very interesting question. Feel free to reach out via DM if you want to talk more about this stuff, I would be happy to do it.
Favorite series, story, animation or book that has influenced your art the most?
Outside of works produced within fetish circles (shoutout to Demon-Man's illustrated story sets!), the ones that have directly influenced my art the most are probably:
1) "Transformation" by Edmund Plante, which is a sadly little-known horror novel about a newlywed woman who TFs into a weird alien creature. The way the changes progress and how they alter her relationship with her husband is superb; I love that kind of stuff in TF stories and I hope to be able to convey it as well as Plante does in that novel. It's a HUGE hidden gem for weird (maybe body horror) TF fans that I cannot recommend enough! If you like slow, gradual transformations and you dig seeing how they affect the transformee's daily life and relationships, give it a read!
2) The Shrek franchise. No joke hahaha. As far as love TF stories go, there's very few that are as mainstream as Shrek. I loved Fiona's journey when I first saw the movies and, in retrospect, it probably helped shape my TF-related tastes a lot. Hers is an "ugly" TF that nonetheless gives her a happy ending through self-acceptance, a loving relationship and a new (more shameless) identity. Those are all things that I love and whose origin I think that I can trace, at least partially, back to Shrek!
There are surely many more works that have influenced me (many that I probably can't even realize atm) but those are the two that are the most clear to me right now! Thanks for your question!
P.S. Your question lended itself more to a written answer but I'd love to draw something "Transformation" or Shrek-related in the future so I might revisit this one for a drawn answer or follow-up in the future!
If your best friend gave you a blank check to transform them as you saw fit how would they look like by the end?
How have your tastes in TF and scenarios evolved over the past year?
アニメのキャラクターを描くことはありますか?
またそれらをクリーチャーに変身させることもありますか?
If you got TFd into a Pokémon, which would you want it to be and why?
Big sensitive cock without balls, small hyper sensitive member with extra large cum churning nuts, sensitive null bulge with an extra bloated prostate and hyper anus? You can pick only one~
Armpits, feet or armpits, which smells the best to you?
Ever considered making a dorse or inspired from it shape?
Hopefully you saw my reply on Twitter already but yes, I have considered it but I don't see myself drawing dorses very frequently (at least as personal work) as I prefer focusing on stuff that tickles my fancy but is also on short supply. I do like dorses (though I'm not crazy for them), but I'm happy just enjoying those that other artists draw.
Just want to say that you are one of my favorite artists and you have single handedly got me back into extreme tf. You answered what you want your partner to look like, jit what form do you desire for yourself?
Thank you very much, Im really flattered and it does mean a lot to me when people let me know they enjoy what I do. Regarding your question, I'd rather keep this one to myself for the time being as I'd prefer to show you rather than tell you. There's nothing like exploring this stuff in art!
Any gender or orientation preferences?
Are you open for chats or/and RP on various instant message platforms?
Willing vs Unwilling transformations: Which makes you more excited?
Really hard question, oooof. Generally I like unwilling TFs the most, but particularly when the unexpected changes are eventually enjoyed by the transformee (not a big fan of bad endings although they're not a turn-off if the TF and the scenario are hot). The main kind of willing TFs that I think I enjoy just as much are those in which the transformee voluntarily undergoes an humiliating, extreme and/or degrading transformation for someone else; usually this ties in with a submissive/dominant relationship dynamic.
