what about them being on the same team their entire lives and once they get to college one of them leaves the team because they fell out of love with the sport (you know that kind of feeling when you just stop loving something you adored as a child?? you don't hate it, you just don't like it as much anymore) i feel like you'd do the angsty parts super well 😩

so,, i just saw challengers after having read this prompt and its got me... ruminating in a way that i haven't rolled a plot around in my sick and twisted head for a long time... made me sit here and think what is more heartbreaking being forced to quit or falling out of love and i just... i think you've released a monster into the world sof and i thank you for it
