Do you think the reason Hector has given up on love because rather than learning to become comfortable with intimacy outside of sex he's grown distant and only craves physical/sexual aspects of love? He seemed apathetic when he rejected Jo but turned around to display himself for Satan only to be harmed by his assistant for not fully explaining his feelings and breaking Jo's heart. Is there something deeper going on with Hector that only makes him have feelings for Satan or is it simply just an idealized form of love and lust for him?
That's a interesting question 😳 Aside from obvious horny reasons, I would say yeah, he's idealized Satan so much for such a long time that he probably can no longer accept or understand affection given to him from someone else since it probably doesn't amount to the gratification he gets from his own expectations.
