heya-same goofy goober who asked the goomba side quest- what’s really crazy about this side quest is that in the GameCube version, goombella is more flustered during the confession. while the goomba does get rejected, she says, “youre really cute though!” afterwards, she states to mario that she may had done something brutal by breaking his heart. however, the remaster version gives goombella a spine and she says something along the lines of, “wow. uhh, this is awkward. sorry pal, but im with mario here. tough luck.” afterwards, she states, “sorry to put you on the spot there mario. guys like those are red flags.” overall, its great that not only did they add more sass to goombella, her character is much more better as she absolutely dunks on the goo(n)mba immediately.
