i like akimina for a lot of reasons so ill just list the main one which is that they’re a different flavor of the opposite attract cliche. makoto is quiet and reserved and afraid of making bonds with people and akihiko is more extroverted and protective and afraid of losing people in the same way that makoto is. Akihiko teaches makoto how to break out of his shell and Makoto teaches akihiko that he doesn’t need to protect everyone all the time and they both bond through their grief together and it’s hooooiuhhjhhhh boys kissing
