bruise, you don't have to reply, just wanted to... You know, I don't think mentioning "little boys" in any of your posts or drawings is a good idea, I'm not against your ideas, your concepts or art, I love them, but the normies might find that annoying... and I dont wanna see you go again. Just be careful with mentioning ages or stuff like that, and keep drawing, you're an inspiration to me and despite what you might think, you're someone admirable, at least for me that is 💙
Are you ok? Just taking a break because of the thing that happened? I'm kinda worried about you, please say something :,[
I think about you a lot even though I know nothing about you… isn’t that silly ?<33
what is your favorite soup?
Will you ever join aethy/mastadon?

Any advice for a struggling art learner? I wouldn't even call myself an artist yet, not out of self deprecation but because I keep quitting on art before I can get the basics down. I'm so used to picking up things really quickly when I try to learn, but even basic drawing skills escape my grasp. Every time I've tried, I end up with unrecognizable squiggles and quit out of frustration. I can't get past my "draws like a toddler" phase because I keep giving up out of frustration and rage not just getting it.
I took my time thinking up a response to this one!
Art, unless you're drawing for a job, is for your enjoyment. It doesn't have to be 'good' or skilled, just what you want. And what you want may require more learning. But that's just a part of the art process. You have to get all the bad pieces out before you start making the ones you like!
My old art when I was a kid was just crappy anime scribbles. But I kept going, I kept drawing what I thought was fun, and slowly I would learn. I think it can get exhausting to just keep looking at guides. I think one important thing is that looking at art, art you enjoy is just as important as looking at guides. Everyone's art is an amalgamation of previous art they liked that they took elements from.
If you're struggling with things like how to do lines and shapes, I got used to my strokes by tracing artists I liked as a kid. Of course don't claim it or post it really, but it helps getting used to it.
Remember.... It's whatever you want it to be. Drawing with bases, collages, tracing, it's all part of the process. Remember it's a skill and skills need to be practiced. But once you get the hang of it it's so much fun. Learning a language doesn't happen in a month.
I believe in you! I'm here if you need more tips :3 thanks for asking
You'll be glad you kept going, and you'll look back on what you've done with fondness.
are you csa or sa survivor, you gave the vibe
Who are your favorite artists that inspire you, and how did you learn?
Oh man there's a lot. My friend Bravo, marimo (a lot), cuteosphere, labbit, leosaeta, dacad, matuska(!!! So much lately), lambent, kaitty, Kittery for paraphore but I like their work in general, churoe, oob... poke found, dagasi, Lando, atryl for a throwback, and maybe I'll wrap up with a polygon5 and a perish!
I have studied art since I was a kid. I did most of the grinding/ knowledge stuff when I was much younger and it shows lol. I haven't actually studied in a while. I plan on it, and have Been in personal notebooks. I began by tracing old anime, just to myself, to get used to it. Then I started drawing games I liked and stuff. Some earliest art I remember doing was of disgaea 2, with Adele and rozalin and stuff. Good times. I would draw for hours with a stack of printer paper. Then I got a iPad and entered my MLP phase where I drew lots of MLP and fanart. In college I became a furry and the rest is history.
sorry if this is obvious or intrusive, are you a system? does some of your artwork portray that?
