These are just some headcanons, predictions, silly thoughts all mixed together:
- Taki will learn to also express herself through her music (and not just make it for Tomori's sake) and that way Tomori will better understand her. Basically mirroring "when I heard your lyrics I finally understood."
- Taki has a collection of small things she wants to gift to Tomori. That button from the antique store was just one example.
- TakiTomo zoo date. Need I say anything else?
- Tomori will make the Taki <-> panda connection at some point and start thinking about her whenever she looks at her pin board.
- Silhouette Dance is a TakiTomo song they wrote at a sleepover where they briefly lost it in a rush of muse.
- Utaimashou is also a TakiTomo song, but that almost feels like a given.
- Taki will try out Tomori's school uniform at some point sending her on a roller-coaster of emotions (maybe a card story).
-Just like Taki doesn't want to experience painful emotions again, Tomori doesn't want Taki to experience either. That's why she tries her hardest to be on time and asks if she can improve because she thinks it will make Taki less worried when everything goes smoothly. (this is not a head canon, just facts but I wanted to mention it either way. I feel like it gets overlooked)
Taki specific:
- Taki doesn't hate her sister and actually admires her, but also can't connect with her. Once she connects with Tomori and learns that art, she'll be able to bridge that gap.
- She does not only sing in karaoke but dances with her whole body. I just know it. She's not fooling anyone.
- Taki and Mutsumi will be on good terms in the future (no particular reasoning, just felt like it might happen).
- As TakiTomo connect, TakiTimo will disconnect (temporarily).
- Taki being angry at Sakiko doesn't mean she hates her (is this a HC? It feels evident).
- She quit the trumpet after having a big fight with the wind ensemble club, then changed schools.
- Taki doesn't know how to ride a bike (I'm not believing otherwise until I see her riding one).
That's it for now. Again just a mixture of ideas about them, but hopefully there's some food for thought somewhere in there.
UWAAAAA YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY IT MADE ME TO GET THIS MESSAGE I WAS BEAMING READING IT there's SO much in here and i agree with/share p much all of these :D i won't comment on all of them so as not to be annoying (but who knows i may return to them later heehee) but i will say a few things :)
- yes!! i def agree that part of taki's growth will be her writing music for herself (or to express herself) and i love the idea of taki and tomori communicating with/to each other through their music so they can both deepen their understanding of the other :') +thinking about them writing love songs to the other... ahh,
- i look forward to taki giving tomori little gifts, and i hope tomori gives taki gifts too (thinking abt that adorable fanart from the other day w tomori+anon getting a panda out of the gacha machine and how happy taki was when tomori gave it to her :') )
- the idea of taki trying on tomori's uniform sent ME on a roller coaster of emotions... the amount of feelings in so many different directions she would have to unpack... i can def see that as a card story some day
- highlighting how tomori also wants to keep taki from experiencing pain is always important. i feel like breathing next to you did such a good job of showing how tomori's worrying about taki too
- completely agree re: taki's feelings towards her sister. i've commented on it before, but i personally HC maki as caring a lot about taki too, but the different ways that their parents treat them (again all speculation at this point still but) creates a very painful wedge between them that they can't really overcome at this point. i LOVE the idea of her connecting with tomori as being the beginning to her (re)connecting with maki/other people in her life... that potential for growth is a huge part of why i think takitomo would be so healing and positive for them both beyond simply looking at their relationship :')
- I WANT TO SEE TAKI DANCING AT KARAOKE going to extend this to her getting rly into it when she goes to concerts too
- i am so interested in seeing how taki's relationships with... well, all of ave mujica, but especially umiri, evolve. there's so much about their specific dynamic that is so weird and compelling to me, i feel like there's a lot we don't know... but also don't feel like that at the same time?? truly do not know how to describe it. i def agree that they will grow apart/perhaps have already begun doing so. looking forward to seeing how mutsumi's relationships with everyone evolve. i 100% agree that taki doesn't hate sakiko, though she might like herself to think so for tomori's sake sometimes
- imagining taki riding on the back of tomori's bike with her arms wrapped around her... :')
