Hmm. I don't wanna dunk on hcs so I'm going to yap about misconceptions I don't like seeing instead

• The Trailblazer being incompetent/reduced to a slob who doesn't garner respect from anyone. IPC officials have literally fought over them before. They're also incredibly intelligent and an active observer whose natural intuition has been flexed on multiple occasions (whether it's through debates or piecing together info and events as they happen.)
• Anyone other than March 7th being treated as the character who's the closest to the TB. Doesn't even have to be inherently shippy or anything, it just feels wrong to complain about her presence or reduce her to a shipping war casualty when they're narratively intertwined for a good reason. Some instances I can recall are flat out misogynistic, too, which irks me to this day.
• People still thinking that the Trailblazer is Kafka's biological child. Guys. She literally lied. It's okay to interpret their relationship with her as you wish, as I'm willing to read into both ends of the spectrum myself, but getting mad at the romantic implications (or conversely, at anyone who reads them as mother and child) is not productive in the slightest LMFAO
• Not a headcanon or a misconception, but I'm gonna vent a little anyway. It's hard to discuss the Trailblazer (specifically Cae) in an objective, sexual manner knowing that the fandom's very anal about him strictly being top or bottom/dom or sub. Idk why. There's nothing wrong with it, but it is a bit disappointing. But then I remember that everyone has their priorities with regards to media, and it alleviates my stress, if only a little. Not gonna stop my disappointment though LOL
