Oh boy you've opened up a huge can on worms asking about Mariah HBFNRVBJFKV
Mariah is my burgundy blood and a very important character in the session but that's not until much later. As she is rn Mariah's kind of a straggler, her only friend is Nitacy my mutant blood who she has a massive unhealthy crush on. She's not well liked, most people find her strange and off-putting she's definitely a "weird girl" not just because she acts strange (possessiveness, aggression, obsessive behavior, mood swings) but because she claims her lusus communicates with her telepathically... And ever since her "incident" with her old moirail Enkida (teal blood) she hasn't had the confidence to put herself out there again. Despite all that Mariah is very friendly and genuinely wants to form bonds with other people. Unfortunately for her she is doomed by the narrative so her story does not end well.
Mariah's bloodline also has a connection with an eldritch god but again that's A LOT to get into rn and I'd really like to draw it rather than write it!

NOT EXACTLY.... they're all connected in one way or another though! It's a lot to get into but their connections with each other mostly stem from having mutual friends but some even have ancestral connections!

More of a general question but! How do you go about deciding the lusii for your fantrolls, is there a specific thought process behind them? ALSO what kinds of books does Nitacy like to read? :]
Ooo I've never been asked this question I would LOVE to explain!!!!!!
It's not anything special but I like to keep two things in mind:
1. What kind of lusus are common in that caste? (i.e. indigos having equine aligned lusus or burgundies having ram related lusus)
2. What animal/creature best suits the character?
From there I like to have fun! My indigo blood Marion has a bipedal raptor horse for a lusus and she was SOOOOO fun to draw I definitely have to draw her again!

Thank you so much!!!! The story is still in the works but as of right now....
Marion and Elitha had known of each other since their youth but didn't officially interact until they ended up at the same entertainment company! Elitha as a Seer of Void worked as a talent scout (she could see potential in trolls and their talents) and Marion as a Witch of Space worked as a secretary/wardrobe and makeup assistant. Both of them loved entertainment but each had one thing that held them back from making it big, for Elitha it was her lack of marketable talent and for Marion it was her overbearing/controlling nature.
After seeing Marion in action Elitha saw something in her no one else did, artistic potential. From that day forward they decided to work together and eventually started their own company! While they do have a lot of pale tension (like so much oh my god they're practically moirails) they don't want to pursue quadrants with each other as they're business partners, conflict of interest y'know?
Despite all this they're really really good friends and have a lot of mutual love and respect for each other!

Nitacy is the only troll I seen you talk about and I do think they are very cute! Are they your first troll?
WELL YOU SEE…. Technically I made all my main 12 at the same time! But I did start with Nitacy! He’s always been a favorite of mine but back then he competed a lot with Mikaya my fuchsia and Enkida my (now) teal. Now he’s definitely the main one I focus on and it doesn’t help my friends in a server I’m in also really like him and always ask for him
