I like yuri but I only get really happy about it if they're older women or immortal so I need to be attached to the characters a lot too. For yaoi it's just what I want to look like and it gives me genuine happiness if someone were to love me. If anything bara is the one I struggle more to relating with even if reading that also isn't bad, I always feel myself not going crazy for men actual people do like. So it is a bit gross but I don't think I grew up correctly!
