Just make sure your base is on the right shade and use the powder lightly to set everything. That is, if the powder you mentioned is loose powder and not a powder foundie.

if it happens to me, i’d just use the minimal amount possible and tap it onto my skin very lightly just to set my complexion so it wouldn’t look cakey…
