ninety-nine to one/breedingfic! it's probably my favorite sookai i've written, characterization wise. though it was more of a "for the arts not the charts" type of fic i'm still proud of it, even if engagement was low. i had been longing to write a domestic, sweet sookai fic that encapsulates precisely why i like sookai's dynamic so much - i think i worked on this fic for a solid year trying to get all the little details right...it's probably the longest i've spent editing a fic. i'm proud of a lot things regarding that fic - i think it's prob my favorite smut i've written (specifically the second sex scene) and also contains some of my personal best prosey passages. i spent a lot of time editing it and i hope that that shows! i think there's an interesting phenomenon where an author's fav fic is not their best performing one and i think that's true in this case as well. nonetheless i'm still very happy with how the fic turned out and i'm itching to write the sequel someday
