this discourse actually make me think of whether the people who started insinuating shit out of something so surface level have anyone they're close with or how they maybe project themselves into thinking "oh, I'm not that close with my friends too, therefore he isn't either" because i rarely texts with my sister and close friends, but we know we still love e/o despite, like literally who cares? the ones who should care are kai, his friends and his families, and I'm sure they already knew that of him and that's a matter between them and him 🙁
in the nicest way possible it doesn’t feel like the people who are getting upset have had or maintained long-lasting adult friendships or relationships in general, or realize that there are other love languages or ways of showing people that you care than just calling/texting them. also they spend 99% of their daily lives together anyway? god forbid they want time to themselves and family and friends outside the group during their first extended vacation in years. hell…i don’t even text some of my closest friends every day or vice versa but we don’t love each other any less. this discourse is so completely nothingburger and just feels like people want a reason to dislike kai or solos victimizing their bias or god forbid shippers using this to say their ship is more real or whatever…like log out of twitter for me i beg
