Hai guys! I have a long ass question that I want you all to think about. I'm not going to put this is a 'qotd' format, because I want thought out answers. I also ask you elaborate on the idea.
My question for you all is: What piece of media, fiction - non fiction, a poem, a movie a show or a book, do you think the media twisted so badly the original meaning has been lost?
Absolutely anything is accepted here: from politics to philosophies, to people to bands and groups. Anything.
uhhh people tend to boil shinji from NGE down to some pathetic little baby man when in reality he's fucking 14 years old and pretty much anyone in their teens (especially if they're mentally ill) wouldn't react well to, i don't know, being forced to fight monsters on a regular basis and like, having the fate of the world rest on your shoulders
