Divorced Hitoya is real in my heart, and I think after his divorce dating was really hard for him. I'll put that in the replies... and on a lighter note I think he had a one night stand with Rei lol (ps I am talking about "Kentoya canon" here so Hitojaku never got together)

I got into the hypmic fandom as an escape after I had a long term relationship end and I was having a really hard time. Hitoya ended up being my favorite character because I could relate to his backstory, and one day I drew my self insert next to him and it just clicked in my head

He's kind of like an older brother to them. He can be rowdy sometimes so him and Kuko go back and forth a lot, they share punk music recommendations and can be a hazard when in public together. Jyushi respects him but also sees him as a little brother instead sometimes because he's short and can be clumsy lol. They're both happy Hitoya found someone who can balance between being easy going and self-assured.
