i do read other manhwas aside aslfua, but i don't really post about my current reads that much. i usually binge-read, and i'm too lazy to share my reactions while i'm at it 😅

do you think sonkki gonna be able to cover all the side stories along with cheol mi-ae till the second half of 2025, because i think she also will go on a hiatus in the beginning of the year and there is too much going on right now but lately chapters are too short and it looks like just unneccery fillers and some thinks not really make sence i dont judge sonkki but its just looked like that (sorry if its too long but i really wanna talk about this with some aslfua fans but idk with who hope the others will comment on it too🙌 anyway love your account🧎‍♀️🩷)

hi! first off, thank you for the compliment 💚. as for your question, no, i don’t think the author will be able to cover all the side stories along with the main story by the second half of 2025. she actually mentioned herself that she’s prioritizing the main story, and the side stories will be released indefinitely after the main plot wraps up (i’ll attach the translated announcement in the replies).

honestly, I’m struggling to gather my thoughts about the recent chapter because I’m not sure where things are headed anymore. i don’t want to sound negative, but it’s true that it’s starting to feel repetitive. resolving the tension between cheol and jisu is necessary, of course, but i think a lot of people are upset because we thought this arc would be part of the side stories. most of us were expecting to head straight into the final arc, where cheol and mi-ae confront the bully.

that said, if jisu ends up playing a big role in that confrontation—like we theorized with the magpie and scholar folklore reference—then maybe this arc is setting the stage for something crucial. if that’s the case, we just need to get through this, and then we’ll reach the finale.

i can’t help but feel a bit hopeful that the author might extend the deadline, though. i know she put a lot of thought into her decision to end it by mid-2025, especially considering her health, but i can’t wrap my head around how the story will conclude in ~30 chapters. unless the chapters get significantly longer after this arc, it feels like there’s still so much left to cover 😢

is this about the bet? if so, i'm honestly not sure. if you’d asked me a few months ago, i would’ve said cheol for sure. but with everything that’s going on now, i’m actually leaning more toward mi-ae folding first

i'm all in for song-i and jinseop! it's a bummer they're not showing up as much in the current timeline, but i guess it's something that i already expected (yet i still miss them, especially jinseop who we haven't seen since may 🥲), since the author is holding onto their storyline for later, as she has previously mentioned. and trust me, i'll still be seated for it when it happens! 💚

as for jisu x jinseop, i'm honestly okay with people shipping jisu with anyone (except mi-ae /hj), but i can't see it with jinseop since they haven't had any interactions yet (i'm the type who needs to see some potential before i get on board with a ship). so if they actually got some real moments together, i'd be open to it!
